We have great pleasure in welcoming you all for IFICS 2023 - Operative Symposium (International Fracture in Children Symposium) at Coimbatore from Aug 18 to 20, 2023. The incidence as well as the complexity of the fractures in Children are on the rise due to high velocity injuries and needs a different approach compared to adults.

The fractures involving the physis can have late sequelae and needs constant monitoring and intrerventions till skeletalmaturity. With all this in mind. we have designed a two-and half-day scientific deliberation covering entire spectrum of paediatric fractures and its sequelae. The live demonstration sessions will cover the complete array of procedures from applying a good cast to the most complex reconstruction for a late sequela.These sessions would give ample opportunity for the delegates to learn the practical tips and tricks directly from the masters. We are sure that this course would cater to all orthopaedic surgeons involved in managing children with fractures right from the residents to the practicing orthopaedic surgeons.
